Red wiggler worms offer great benefits to the organic gardener, producing both a natural fertilizer and an effective pesticide PLUS they eat your kitchen scraps. The value of red wigglers, a.k.a. Eisenia fetida, lies in their excrement, known as worm castings.

During the feeding and decomposing process, red worms help aerate the soil, creating pockets of air that allow for water and nutrients to flow more easily among plant roots. Your worms will ship within 2 days and even though these worms ship from Arizona, we can reach most US locations in 3 days or less!

Red wigglers, aka Eisenia fetida, are the compost worm best suited to the widest range of temperature conditions, likely making them the perfect choice for your bin.

There are 800-1000 in a pound and they will thrive in temperatures between 55°F and 90°F.

May contain some blues.

Your worms will ship for free on Mondays or Tuesdays unless you select Expedited Shipping at checkout!

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Once an item of merchandise is delivered to you, you can return that item within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your merchandise must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging.

Our return policy does not apply to live worms. Live worms will be replaced should they be delivered DOA.

You must submit a video of worms and the box they were shipped in within 2 hrs of delivery. You must be home when worms arrive. They must not be left on the porch or in the elements. If you are not going to be home please arrange to pick up at the post office on the day they arrive. We are not responsible once the worms arrive at the post office if you are not home to receive them.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

We have received your valid return, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and notify you of the acceptance or rejection of your return.

We are pleased to offer a live guarantee for our worm shipments under the following conditions:

You must be home to receive the worms or notify us to add a “Hold at Post Office” notice to the package.
We must receive notification of a dead shipment within two hours of delivery with an accompanying video or images emailed to [email protected]
If your shipping address changes after you place the order, the live guarantee is void.
We will reship only once at our cost.

There are no refunds for worm shipments.
HOW WE SHIP

We ship via USPS Priority Mail, All orders will be shipped on Mondays or Tuesdays. Must have order in the Sunday prior to Monday.
Your worms will usually be delivered within 2 -3 days anywhere in the continental United States once shipped.
We reserve the right to withhold shipments due to extreme weather.
Our system will send out an email with tracking information within 12 hours of shipment if you provide an email when you place your order online. Please keep an eye out for this email.
Our worms are packed in breathable bags and shipped in corrugated cardboard shipping boxes. They are clearly marked LIVE WORMS / PERISHABLE.
Your worms will be bagged in dry peat moss. They may be smaller and slightly dehydrated when they arrive. They will regain up to 30% more weight after you rehydrate them.
Non-worm shipments may be via any carrier and could arrive any day of the week.
